Crime Statistics
The University of Northern Iowa believes strongly in allowing the community members to make informed decisions about their personal safety. One element is providing the statistical information about crime.
Crime statistics take a variety of forms to tell the story of how crime occurs in a community.
Each semester, the campus crime statistics website is listed under "Federal Disclosure Information WebSites" section in the printed and online schedule of classes, published by the Registrar's Office. The online site is also included by Human Resources Services with information for potential employees. A printed copy of the report may be requested at the Department of Public Safety, 30 Gilchrist Hall, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA 50614-0023.
UNI's crime statistics, required by the federal Clery Act, are available to the public in the Annual Security & Fire Report.
