Credit/Debit Card Refunds

Citation Payments Made via Online Citation Payment Portal/Front Counter

Refunds will only be made in the case of an error or appeal reversal of the charges within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of payment. All refunds are issued back to the card used. No cash refunds issued.

Payments Made for Permits

Pro-rated refunds prior to the expiration date of the permit and within 120 calendar days from the date of purchase are issued back to the card used. Contact Parking Services for refunds beyond this time period.

Bank Fees

When issuing any appropriate refund(s), the Department of Public Safety will not refund any bank fees assessed to the user for the transaction. This includes, but not limited to interest, overdraft/limit charges, conversion and/or convenience fees assessed by the issuing agency or foreign banks.
